The founder of flash memory

flash memory was invented by a gentleman named fujio masuoka who was a doctor working for toshiba in 1984, when he came up with this invention. the name for the memory itself was actually suggested by dr masuoka’s assistant, mr. shoji ariizumi because he said that the erasure process of the memory contents reminded him of a flash camera.

dr. masuoka presented his invention at the annual ieee meeting of integrated electronics devices in 1984 that was held in san jose, california. intel, one of the flash drivers biggest manufacturers of computer chips, saw the amazing potential of this invention and unleashed its first nor type flash chip to the public in 1988.

in 1989 nor flash memory had some company in the form of nand flash memory. this was developed at both toshiba and samsung. the benefits of this type of flash memory + storage over nor flash memory is that it has faster erase and write times, it’s density is higher, and the cost per bit is much electric calculator lower. it also neither has ten times the endurance of nor flashes memory.

Large Capacity PMPs for you

i don’t know about you but, i never really got into the whole ipod deal. i never really understood what the big deal was between an apple ipod or a large capacity pmps, i mean really what is the difference! i see none where i’m standing! i had flash memory a friend a few months that got one of those really tiny apple ipod, it held like 500 songs but the buttons were so small you had to tap the keys with the tip of a pen to switch songs, or turn up the volume! i mean, was that the allure? because it’s small and it fits in your pocket be weird.

what i did get into though was mp3 players, these are nicer, badder, and more awesome than those puny ipod! and you don’t mp3 player need a pen tip to change the electric calculator song either! personally i bought a cowon d2, it got terrific reviews, its sleek, it fits in my pocket, i can put thousands of songs on it, the quality is outstanding and i have been happy with it ever since i got it!

of course there are 5 zillion other ones out there including the large capacity pmps like the mp3/mp4 player, but these are ones i have either heard rave reviews about or that i have had personal experience with. good luck in your search for the perfect pmps

for a long time, the iphone and other clones were called “smart phones” simply because they loaded everything but the kitchen sinks into these tiny imports. even bluetooth mobiles the early knock offs included web browsing, testing, emailing, mp4 or mp3 players, bluetooth, digital camera / web cam, and fm radio as well as e-book readers on many models.

i am one who certainly thinks the 32 is worth the money and not overloaded. with the new trinity of windows mobile 6.0, built in wi-fi, and gps, the t32 is approaching the category of the productivity smart phones that allow you to read, draft, edit, and resend information away from your desk. this mobile truly allows you wireless mobile to popular mobiles do business anywhere at anytime, although it’s also popular with students. in addition to these extras, the 32 supports java, which opens up a bunch of gaming and third party software possibilities?

this phone is called by a few different names like daxian x999, daxian t32, etc. it supports wap browsing, as well as mms and sms messaging. it is updated with the a2dp version of bluetooth and also includes outlook express. this daxian 32 mobile has talk time of up to 300 minutes and a standby time of up to 150 hours. it can hold up to 8gb of flash memory.

Introduction and designs of Nokia E71

as many nokia e-series phones were almost useless, original box phones, the e-series started to come up in the new mobiles mobile phone world last year with the e wireless mobile 51 and e65. as the n-series is a multimedia series, the e-series was almost as enticing and nokia has announced the release of the nokia e71 which is to be available in july. surprisingly, the nokia e71 impressed us with its design. a perfectly weighted, metal cased, attractive phone is exactly what it is. one major plus is its keypad that fits just right and makes it one of the most attractive smart phones ever.

the phones screen and keypad are nice features and we were impressed to see easy shortcut keys that make it easy to access your contacts, emails, and calendar. it fits a 10mm profile and slides easily into your pocket even though it is wider than your average handset. however, this qwerty keypad is one of the best smart phone keypads ever popular mobiles with raised keys that are small but still easy to use. the metal casing provides extra protection to ensure the use of this phone will stand strong even if you drop it multiple times. it has started out looking as if it will be a lifelong prototype.
